Now, before anyone asks, no, he doesn't eat money!

This is a Pixiu (貔貅), a mythical creature with a long-standing place in Chinese cultural symbolism.

The Pixiu is traditionally associated with prosperity, good fortune and safeguarding wealth.

But take a closer look at this particular carving.

Its mouth has been designed to hold a rolled, genuine Singapore banknote.

And that's where the story becomes rather interesting.

Would you choose S$2 to represent a humble beginning?

S$10 to symbolise completeness?

S$100 for a wish of greater prosperity?

We tried to make a very expensive-looking jewellery advertisement.

The AI model understood the assignment. Elegant outfit. Beautiful smile. Perfect posture.

Then our lavender jadeite pendant appeared.

Suddenly, the model became the supporting actress. 😂

And the pendant? Didn't even need make-up, a hairstylist or a cup of kopi.

Just turned up looking fabulous. 💜

Meanwhile, we're a little jewellery boutique at The Adelphi, trying to squeeze all this glamour into 10 seconds.
