A product of two of the most prestigious Design schools in India, Maithili Kabre Mandal is an alumnus of the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad and Sir J.J. A trained architect, backed by a post graduation in Lifestyle Accessory Design from NID, the varied influences of her background show in her work, as is the constant effort to re-invent and challenge traditional perception of jewellery, evident in each collection. Retailing hand-made jewellery since 2004, she established her label of fashion jewellery ‘Swa’ in 2009 after graduating in Lifestyle Accessory Design from NID. Maithili Kabre Jewellery is a step further in the direction in pursuit of design & realization of exquisite, stand-out jewellery.
