Under the helm of a dynamic team of volunteers and a full-time secretariat, SA aims to continue to build on its rich legacy, and position as the governing body of all things track and field in Singapore. With effect from 1 February 2011, SA is now a charity under the Charities Act as required by the Singapore Sports Council.

If you’ve ever wondered what it really takes to make the jump from school athletics to the national level, this session is for you.

Hear directly from athletes, coaches, and the High Performance team on what the pathway really looks like — the opportunities, challenges, expectations, and lessons learnt along the way.

Whether you are a parent, former athlete, coach, volunteer, sports enthusiast, or simply keen to contribute to athletics, this course is a great first step to becoming a Technical Official and helping shape the sport in Singapore.

Technical Officials play a key role in making competitions fair, safe, and professional, from starts and jumps to throws, timing, judging and event operations.

Happening on 23 May 2026, the session will give aspiring athletes a clearer understanding of the journey ahead — both on and off the track.

- Navigating National Service commitments
- OCTC opportunities and support structures
- Real athlete stories, experiences, and lessons learnt

Singapore Athletics is inviting qualified vendors to submit proposals for the procurement of a Trackside LED Pacing System.

This initiative is part of our continued effort to elevate training standards, performance analytics, and competition readiness across both national and development programmes.

The proposed system will:
🏃‍♂️ Support elite and developmental training
📊 Enable data-driven performance tracking
⚙️ Deliver reliable, high-performance pacing capabilities for both training and competition environments
