Yuki Mitsuyasu Jewellery

Yuki Mitsuyasu Jewellery Designer Jewellery Label by Yuki Mitsuyasu Yuki Mitsuyasu designs and constructs pieces intended to tell a story.

Carefully crafted into each piece is a narrative, waiting to be recounted, explored, and shared. Mitsuyasuʼs choice of materials, the manner by which they are shaped, and the functions they perform all work collectively to weave the intended narrative. And just as there is more than one side to a story, Mitsuyasu stresses too the importance of jewellery looking beautiful from every angle. Yet, eve

ry point of view does not distract from the narrative. The themes, often universal and timeless, lend the pieces immediate iconic status.

MILK TOOTH Charm
In Japan, there’s a tradition: when a child’s milk tooth falls out, bottom teeth are thrown onto the roof, and upper teeth to the ground—wishing for healthy permanent teeth.
Of course, that’s not so practical in the urban world. So I created this pendant in 18K gold, with my daughter’s milk tooth set on top of a tiny roof. Flip it over, and you’ll find figures of my daughter and me, housed inside.
For me, it’s a charm, a reminder, and a celebration of her growth, with hopes for a healthy future. My husband thinks it’s a little eerie to wear a human tooth as a pendant. 😂
If you share the sentiment, I’d be happy to custom-make one with your child’s milk tooth..!

I love how my Love Seed collection sparks childhood memories and starts the most delightful conversations.
One lady shared how she once put a saga seed in her ear and couldn’t get it out. In a panic, she tried poking it with a pencil 😱 Another guy told me he and his friends used to rub saga seeds on the ground to heat them up with friction—then press the hot seeds onto each other’s arms to annoy one another!
When my son was two, he shoved a seed up his nose out of pure curiosity. WHY!?! While I was frantically Googling whether we needed to rush to A&E (turns out, no), he sneezed—and out it flew! 😂
As for me, I heard that collecting 100 saga seeds brings happiness. So my friend and I each kept a bag of exactly 100 seeds and counted them every recess, like it was some sacred ritual of joy.

Saga seeds are woven into the fabric of our childhood in Singapore. Their natural beauty fascinated us all ❤️
What’s your saga seed story? Share it with me below, or at *Scape today.

Love how non-monetary exchanges bring out everyone’s generosity and kindness. After I fixed an auntie’s jade necklace, she insisted on giving something in return—and gifted me these tiny jade donuts! Others also stepped up to volunteer at Queenstown Kakis’ December Kampong Market. Such a beautiful ripple effect of goodwill and community connection ❤️ (So many earring repairs and glueing 🤣 at yesterday’s Mei Ling Community Day!)
✨ Another repair session coming up this Fri & Sat (19–20 Sep) at the OFFSITE Creators Market at *SCAPE, part of Singapore Design Week! Come by and say hi!

I’ve got two jewellery repair clinics coming up — come by and bring your well-loved pieces that need a little TLC.

Mei Ling Community Day
📅 13 Sep (Sat), 10am–1pm
📍 Mei Ling Market and Food Centre

OFFSITE CREATORS MARKET – SDW2025
📅 19 Sep (Fri) & 20 Sep (Sat), 5:30pm–10:30pm
📍 *Design Pavilion @ SCAPE Playscape (Orchard)

Jewellery isn’t just about fine pieces and precious stones. It’s also the sentimental ones — the necklace from your travels, the bracelet passed down from someone dear, the ring that’s been with you for years. These pieces carry stories, and when they break or tarnish, it feels like something’s missing.

If you’ve got something like that, bring it by. I’ll be doing on-the-spot repairs and maintenance like:
🔹 Polishing tarnished silver
🔹 Fixing beaded pieces
🔹 Replacing broken clasps or jumprings
🔹 Re-glueing parts
🔹 Buffing out scratches on silver/gold rings
🔹 Simple soldering (if it’s doable on-site)

Just a heads-up: I won’t be working on gold-plated or stone-set pieces, and I’m not offering re-plating services.

Hope to see you there 💛

Very happy to see the chess set I worked on with Mr Yee and the girls ( ) back in 2016 now on display at the Let’s Play exhibition at the Asian Civilisations Museum!
Loved seeing all the beautifully crafted traditional games and variations in different materials. You can even play chess against an AI 🤖♟️
There’s a cozy play area too—grab a rug, pick a game, and get nostalgic. Definitely bringing my kids next time!

Today was special—a customer who’d been eyeing our pieces for years finally returned to purchase the long Pearl necklace and Pearl studs she’d always wanted. Her happiness made my day!

“This pendant used to be my mother’s...” “My daughter got this necklace from my son-in-law...” “I’ve never taken this bracelet off, that’s why it’s so tarnished now...”
Every piece of jewelry carries its own story—each one precious in its own unique way. As the Jewelry and Accessories Doctor at the Queenstown Kakis Clinic, there’s nothing more rewarding than breathing new life into these treasured items.
Seeing people walk away with their restored keepsakes and bright smiles reminds me why I love what I do. It’s not just about fixing metals —it’s about preserving memories and the connections they represent 💝

The Queenstown Kakis Clinic for Beloved Items was born when friends started asking me to repair their jewelry—often simple fixes that didn’t require much time or skill. These cherished pieces were gathering dust simply because of minor issues!
I realized this happens with all kinds of treasured possessions: favorite clothes with tiny holes that are otherwise perfectly wearable, struggling plants needing expert advice, or bicycles with brakes that don’t quite work right.
That’s why we created repair clinics for clothes, plants, bicycles, wheelchairs, and jewelry—with our knowledgeable neighbors serving as “doctors” and the amazing Queenstown Kakis volunteers making it all possible.
It was especially heartwarming to see children fascinated by the repair processes. I hope this repair culture becomes a natural part of their lives—fixing rather than replacing, cherishing rather than discarding.
