Fat Anvil Studios is a silversmithing studio located in sunny Singapore specialising in making things the old fashioned way. We offer an approachable way to gain insight into this trade through workshops which are taught with a deep respect for the craft. Currently, Fat Anvil Studios offers silvermithing demos in schools and various institutions, group, private, one-to-one, wedding band/engagement

ring, corporate and cafe workshops that are fully customisable and range from learning the basic foundations of silversmithing for complete beginners, to advance workshops for current silversmiths who wish to improve their skills. We are formally trained and certified in this field with over a decade’s worth of bench and teaching experiences, tips and tricks up our sleeves to share with you. So come unleash your inner creative, learn something new and meet like-minded people along the way!

a gentle contrast, intentionally paired.
Inside, each ring holds the couple’s fingerprints pressed into the metal as a private memory of how they were made.

A cosy open class, paced gently, with time to pause, talk and be present in the making. Each ring leaves the studio finished and ready to wear.

KT & John came to us with an open mind, looking for fully customisable classic wedding bands they could call their own.

So we proposed something we’d never tried before:

D wire band in dual gold, shaped with a Möbius twist, complete with a capybara and penguin illustrations engraved on the inside.

The result? A soft, sculptural twist that ended up surprising all of us in the best way 😍
