2003 yılı Temmuz ayında kurulmuş olan Mücevher İhracatçıları Birliği, İstanbul Maden ve Metaller İhracatçı Birlikleri çatısı altında kurulan 6 İhracatçı Birliğinden biridir. 1087 üyesi bulunan birlik, üyelerinin menfaatlerini korumak ve değerli maden ve mücevherat ihracatımızı arttırarak sektörün yeni pazarlara ulaşmasını sağlamak amacıyla ihracatçılarımıza yardımcı olmayı hedeflemiştir.

çerçevede, Mücevher İhracatçıları Birliği'nin başlıca amaçları şunlardır:

İhracatı arttırmak,
Uluslararası alanda sektörün daha iyi tanıtılmasını sağlamak,
İhracatçıların mesleki ilişki ve faaliyetlerini düzenlemek,
İhracatla ilgili her türlü soruna çözüm bulmak amacıyla girişimlerde bulunmak,
Üye firmaların ihracat faaliyetlerine rehberlik yapmak.....Mücevher İhracatçıları Birliği, üyelerinin ihracatlarındaki onay işlemlerinin yapılması ve istatistiklerinin tutulmasının dışında, yurtdışından gelen ithal taleplerini ilgili üretici ve ihracatçı üyelerine yönlendirmekte ve ayrıca Türk ihraç ürünlerinin dünya pazarlarında tanıtılması için yurtdışı uluslararası fuarlara ulusal katılımları düzenleyip bireysel katılımlara da destek vermektedir.
