鬱金香樓梯（西元1635–1636）
由英國建築師 Inigo Jones 設計
是英格蘭第一座無中央支撐的樓梯

扶手的淡藍色
是向法國王后 Henrietta Maria
以及法國皇室百合花的致意

它被建於
Queen’s House Greenwich , London
不是為了炫技
而是以比例、秩序與靜謐的力量
展現建築的權威與優雅

The Tulip Stairs (AD1635–1636).
Designed by Inigo Jones,
England’s first centrally unsupported staircase.

Inspired by Venetian architecture,
each stone step locks seamlessly into the wall —
strength through geometry, not a central column.

The handrail was restored to its original pale blue,
a subtle tribute to Henrietta Maria
and the French royal lily.

Built inside the Queen’s House, Greenwich, London,
this staircase was never just functional —
it was a statement of proportion, power, and quiet elegance.
