The Life Cycle of Sound — Series III: Music Book Necklace
經過調音、留聲收納盒，
音樂的起承轉合，
走到了最激昂的部分。
那些醞釀已久的情緒，
在翻開樂譜的這一刻，
化成一個個音符，盡情釋放。
以前玩團的時候，
每天都要練上一個多小時，
那些樂句，重複再重複。
幾年過去，生活忙了，
樂譜也很久沒有翻開。
直到某一天，再次聽見熟悉的旋律，
我以為自己已經不會彈了，
卻在拿起吉他的時候，
手指不自覺地跟著彈了起來。
才發現，原來其實一直都刻在腦袋裡面。
翻開樂譜書，
為什麼裡面是卡農？
在設計這個系列的時候，
我把當年玩音樂的時空背景，
一起放了進去。
那時候，搖滾卡農紅遍全世界，
也是我那段音樂時光裡，
一直記得的旋律。
直到幾天前，好奇地再上 YouTube 搜尋，
才發現，依舊有那麼多人在翻彈。
而旋律響起的那一瞬間，
那些練習、玩團的日子，
好像是昨天才發生的事。
於是我們把樂譜做成一本小小的項鍊，
送給心裡還留著一段旋律的人。

After tuning and the Sound Keepsake Box,
the music unfolds,
reaching its most passionate moment.
As the score opens,
emotions long held within
turn into notes and ring out freely.
Back when I played in a band,
I practiced for over an hour every day,
repeating the same phrases, again and again.
Years passed. Life got busy.
My sheet music sat unopened.
Then one day, I heard a familiar melody.
I thought I had forgotten how to play,
but when I picked up my guitar,
my fingers began playing along.
That was when I realized—
I had remembered all along.
Open this little music book.
Why Canon?
While designing this series,
I wanted to bring a piece of my band days
into it, too.
Back then, Canon Rock was heard around the world.
For me, it remains a melody
woven into those years of making music.
Just a few days ago, curiosity led me
to search for it on YouTube again.
So many people are still playing their own versions.
The moment the melody began,
those days of practicing and playing in a band
felt like only yesterday.
We turned sheet music into a little necklace,
for everyone who still carries a melody within.
