Andrés Segovia(賽歌維雅, 1893 – 1987)為古典吉他留下「美」的定義，他說：『The beauty of the guitar resides in its soft and persuasive voice, and its poetry cannot be equaled by any other instrument. 』
吉他的「美」在於它柔和又極具說服力的聲音，而吉他「詩意」般的音樂表現更是其他樂器無法比擬的。
賽歌維雅在他長達近80年的演奏生涯中，幾乎都彈奏著「西班牙 Ramírez」與「德國Hauser」二款名琴，以柔和又極具說服力的觸弦及充滿「詩意」的演奏，讓全球無數雅士們無不深愛著吉他。
