1. First, you will need a measuring tape so you can get the most accurate measurement in inches.

2. Be sure to measure on bare skin, not over clothing, for a true measurement that’s not too loose or too tight. You do want to allow a little room in the tape to allow for slight weight fluctuations.

3. Decide where you want your waistbeads to sit. They could be worn high on your waist just under your bust, anywhere near your navel, or lower on the hips.
