🍁 Hello September! 🍁

Sapphires are the official birthstone of September. They are considered to be a precious gemstone and found in a wide variety of colors, from deep blue (the most famous) to pink, yellow, green, and white (colorless). Sapphires have a score of 9 on the Mohs scale - making diamonds the only gemstone harder than a sapphire.

Sapphires are very tough and mostly scratch resistant, making them ideal for everyday wear. They represent wisdom, loyalty, truth, and nobility.

Taylor Made Jewelry has a large selection of naturally mined and lab created sapphires, in all colors! Come visit us today for that special gift for all the September birthdays in your life!

Welcome August! Peridot (pronounced PEAR-I-DOH) is the birthstone this month. It has a range in color from yellow to green; ancient Egyptians called it the “gem of the sun” because they believed it glowed with light from the sun. Peridot gems have a rich history, spanning back 4,000 years! They sometimes get confused with Emeralds, and many historians believe that Queen Cleopatra’s Emerald collection were actually fine Peridot stones.

Come visit Taylor Made Jewelry today for all your jewelry needs!

Rubies are the official birthstone for July and their name is derived from the Latin word ruber, meaning “red”. They come in a variety of reds due to the mineral, corundum. Rubies are known as the King of Precious Stones and have historically been revered by royalty. They symbolize authority, prosperity, romance, and invincibility.

Cruise in to Taylor Made Jewelry for our HUGE July savings event - and no sales tax! See you soon!
