It's been a while since I've posted an introduction to myself so here that goes!
I'm Nicole ~ creating beautiful things is my love language! At 10 years old, I started making jewelry, and began selling at craft shows by 11 years old. I continued on learning new techniques and selling at a couple craft shows per year plus word-of-mouth custom orders.
In the midst of going to college and getting married in my young adult years, the jewelry took a backseat role but I picked it back up in 2018 and created a full time business out of it, earning 2k+ sales on Etsy. This allowed my husband and I to go on lots of fun road trips with our two dogs and set us up for me being able to stay at home with our future kids.
Since then, I've had 2 precious children, & my full time jewelry income stream dissolved into thin air in 2022 leaving me with the blessing of more free time and opportunities. Later on, I started working from home part time for The Aimee Neiman Team and got licensed as a real estate agent. I get to help them with various administrative assistant duties while keeping the possibility of someday helping buyers and sellers directly in my back pocket.
In 2025, during a difficult season I remembered the dresses my great grandma made for me as a child. They've been cherished, stood the test of time, and have been passed down to my kids. I wanted to carry on such a legacy and so I used a sewing machine for the very first time last October, and I don't think there's been a day since that I haven't worked on some aspect of a sewing project. It's been an amazing way to challenge my brain and my hands into creating beautiful and useful pieces. There are lots of people who embrace sewing as a slow process of creativity and while I respect that and someday may be where I land, right now it's a rush of much needed excitement, anticipation, and lots of dreams that are becoming realities!
Thanks for coming along for the ride!
