Do you know anyone who built their business off of TikTok? I started a (very small) business based on relationships I found on TikTok. Mine is an insignificant example, but FrogDog Designs Jewelry wouldn't exist if not for TikTok.

Maybe you don't personally use this app, maybe you don't understand why it means so much to so many Americans. "It's just an app, they will go to another one" but there are MILLIONS of Americans who have built something from the community they found there and for many it is literally their income, something they have worked for years building into a business...and just like that, it's gone. They are now starting from scratch....or not at all. Like walking into any small business and shutting it down in a blink of an eye (sounds great for our economy).

Just because something isn't valuable to you personally doesn't mean it's not incredibly valuable to someone else. That's what empathy is, feeling someone else's perspective, pain and experience even if it does not directly effect you. Something too many people (especially politicians) lack.
