New pieces dropping next Thursday 4/30✨

This year I’m leaning back into photography, being both behind and in front of the camera.

I’ve always loved doing both, like truly loved it. Since I was a senior in high school.

My small town in KY actually raised quite a few amazing photographers. One of my best friends, and multiple others who would schedule these amazingly fun themed shoots at their houses.

Looking back, im so grateful for all of that. I had so much fun being apart of it all, and lately ive been missing it!

I’m so excited to be planning fun shoots again, for my work, but also for other artists as well! (Before this shoot of my work, I shot some gorgeous photos for my friend Sarah of 7Aspens.)

I don’t necessarily think I want photography to become some big business for me, it’s never been about the money, it’s just a form of self expression that I really want to be doing🫶🏼

But I’m sure you’ll see me share some photo work as the year progresses. It’s just always been my “thing” and this year we’re circling back to it full force. And it feels really really good✨

Sooo yeah, new handcrafted turquoise jewelry coming 4/30, and new photography coming, as often as I can manage I hope😅

Now I’m off to enjoy my Saturday🌿 hope you are too!

My first time visiting Moab 🏜️ What an incredible landscape!

A 7hr drive south had me absolutely speechless.
The buttes, the arches, the Dino tracks, the petroglyphs, the cactus flowers, the colors!🤯

I car camped with friends right along the Colorado River, hiked a ton, had a couple epic photo shoots and just kept thinking to myself, “wow- I’m so grateful to be here.”

I’ve never experienced anything like it, the desert just hits different. In the best way.

I already cannot wait to go back✨

My moonflowers need potting up✨ (last pic)

I’m so excited for them! And the 2 variety of morning glory’s I have growing as well!

Moonflowers bloom in the evening through the night, and morning glory’s during the day. So I plan to plant them together to have constant flowers!

I didn’t used to be a huge flower person, I kept mostly tropical plants when I was big into collecting; monstera, tetras, various pothos, Hoya, anthurium, & a plant cabinet with little ferns & small terrarium plants.

I think at my peak I had around 80 house plants.
It was my morning ritual, to sip my coffee and make my rounds on the patio & in the house to water & observe everything.

Much easier to do in South Florida than our Wyoming house, the dry high desert air here makes growing tropicals much more work.😩

So I’ve shifted to things I know are a little more hardy. I’m also shooting my shot with lots of herbs this year. Which I’ve never really had success with, but I’m determined this year!

All this to say, I’m a crazy plant lady🤷🏼‍♀️
So if you are too, hi 👋 we’re friends now.

(New shadowbox pendants I just finished are up for grabs, I’ll get them listed eventually- but you can dm me for one now🫶🏼 Kyanite, Peridot, Turquoise & Tourmaline that I’ve crafted into Sterling)

My first elk ivory piece✨

And the way this tourmaline catches the light?!😮‍💨
It’s just too pretty!

I’ve been asked multiple times about creating ivory pieces, but never took the time to experiment cutting and shaping the ivory into something useable to set in sterling.

Well yesterday was the day, and I’m actually quite happy with how this experimental piece turned out!

It’s a beautiful little ivory, with great color, and I’m so excited to see who claims her✨

She’s available in the shop right now🫶🏼
