Shiny Hat Guys

Shiny Hat Guys We wear the shiny hats at the comedy shows. Based on the data, these are questions that people have asked. Q: Why do you guys always sit in the back?

A: We like to wear the hats, and we don't want to block anyone's view. Q: Where'd you get those hats? A: Jason worked for a party company, and while breaking down a new years party one year, he found a whole bunch of shiny top hats laying around. So he took as many as he thought he could inconspicuously leave with (4). Ever since then the hats were worn for any or all silly occasions, until they f

ound they're calling as the attire for comedy shows. Q: How did it all start? A: Mike went to high school and is friends with a former member of IWA (Sean Toland), so he would go to the shows sometimes. Then Jason started going to shows, and it was basically decided that the shows were great and would be attended regularly. Since we all basically do all things together, we all eventually went to the shows together. One show we just happened to be wearing the silver hats for fun. We thought it would be fun to keep wearing them and see if anyone noticed that this same group of kids always wore these ridiculous hats to the shows. Then before one show one of the IWA or Mission members made a comment along the lines of "the guys with that hats are back!" and that pretty much locked it in for us. We've worn the hats to all the shows since. Q: What year are you guys? A: We're all in the class of 2015. Q: Some people call you "Silver Hat Guys" and others say "Shiny Hat Guys". Which one is right? A: They are both good! However, we only have three of the iconic silver hats. The fourth hat, while still shiny, is actually black. So "Shiny Hat Guys" is technically more correct, at least when all four of us have hats.
