Today, January 8, 2021, marks the 11th anniversary of when Bands For Arms began. I am grateful and thankful for the many hundreds of thousands of supporters across all channels of B4A’s social media (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat & TikTok) that have been following over the past years. I have been slowly taking baby steps into getting back into the Bracelet making and designing since my su***de attempt in 2019 after losing four of my closest Marine Veteran volunteers that took their own lives due to depression and PTSD, that have helped me for many years during the early stages of my company and I am thankful for everyone being patient with me as I’m mentally healing. The fire hasn’t been put since then, but just a glowing ember still within me, waiting to be that big fire once again of something that was very passionate in my life and still is. I am very thankful for those that have been close to me, like .😳.scrawls letting me be open with them and expressing that I want to get back into the Bracelet designing and putting 100% focus back into Bands For Arms. Everyday I can let my mind open back up in talking about this, the more and more these baby steps become giant stepping stones, where I need to mentally be back to. Thank you all again for the support you have contributed to towards the mission of Bands For Arms - Nick III

Happy Veteran’s Day to all my supporters who are active duty, or is currently a Veteran out of service. What you do for our country and have done is truly remarkable and should be recognized, not just on one day like today, but for everyday we cherish the word, “freedom.” Honor those today who have given their lives for a beautiful country in which we live in. Remember that we wouldn’t have what we have if it wasn’t for our American Veterans. I am proud and honored to be called a Navy Veteran and will continue to represent our military & Veterans through Bands For Arms - Nick III

This picture was taken on Sunday, November 8, 2020. I know I have not been active on all my Bands For Arms Social media (Instagram and Facebook) and a lot have been worried about me. Just to say the least, I am doing ok and there are close friends holding me accountable to ensure I am safe and that I am keeping my mind busy. The psychiatrist I am currently seeing at The VA for PTSD is also holding me accountable each week to ensure my safety, that there are no suicidal thoughts in my mind. I am working on myself and working back to getting myself comfortable working back with the uniforms and designing the Bracelets without having in the back of my mind any guilt, deceiving thoughts, or bad memories of my friends (Marine volunteers) who took their lives last year. I didn’t think it would take me this long to let it go, but it has and I’m working on it to accept that it’s not my fault that they took their lives. The “I could have helped them” thought still lingers in my mind and I just need to let that thought leave my mind so I can be me again with Bands For Arms. I miss all of you and when I am ready, when my mind is ready, I will be back full strength, being the Nick you all have known for all these past years - Nick III

USS Constitution to Fire 21-Gun Salute, Host Facebook Live Memorial Day Commemoration

“USS Constitution is undefeated in battle, having captured or destroyed 33 enemy vessels, but that did not come without a significant cost,” said Cmdr. John Benda. “This ship is truly a battlefield like Gettysburg or Normandy, and we will never forget the sacrifice of the Sailors who perished on these decks in the defense of our nation.”
