Steve was in Los Angeles with Jay Leno this past weekend, getting an up-close look at part of Jay’s remarkable collection.

One standout was this incredible Breguet “Souscription” pocket watch, dating back to 1799 and created personally by Abraham-Louis Breguet himself. With its single hand, enamel dial, and key-wound movement, the watch is an iconic example of Breguet’s innovation and timeless design.

The “Souscription” watches were originally offered by subscription, with clients placing a deposit to reserve their timepiece. Only around 700 were ever produced, making this a rare glimpse into true horological history.
