**The story behind the name Doodlebug Designs **

Have you ever had to name something and suddenly realized how HARD it is to come up with a good name? 😂

When I first started my business, I really struggled with what to call it.

I wanted something that was fun and memorable, but I also wanted it to have some personal meaning. I tossed around ideas, but nothing felt quite right.

Then one day, while I was brainstorming, my oldest's nickname (the little guy in the photo) popped into my head:

💡 Doodlebug

And suddenly, it clicked.

It was fun.
It was memorable.
And it had a personal meaning that made it *mine.*

More than 20 years later, I can't imagine calling my business anything else.

And I love that the name still fits what we believe today: jewelry should be fun, colorful, made to fit your body, and help you feel comfortable and confident in your own skin.

Plus, I can't tell you how many times I've been at an event and someone has complimented me on the name. 🥰

Funny how something that was so hard to figure out at the beginning can eventually feel like it was meant to be.

Now I'm curious...
