We opened our first store 11 years ago, but Geoscape started back in 2011.

At first we only sold at fairs and festivals- our first event was the Paw Paw Wine & Harvest Festival in 2011. Not long after, we started vending at gem & mineral shows as well.

In 2015 we were finally ready to move in to our first brick and mortar location. We opened Geoscape in our hometown Paw Paw, Michigan on Memorial Day Weekend. We started off in a small room, but quickly grew into the entire building. Our jewelry cases at our Paw Paw location came from one of our favorite small businesses: Ann Arbor's Middle Earth!

Our next expansion came when we had the opportunity to buy our favorite rock shop: Four Directions! We had always admired what Alan & Karen had created and looked to their store for inspiration. We re-opened and re-branded in April 2021.

We truly appreciate all of your support for our small family business 💛 We hope your experience at our stores inspires the same love for geology and nature that originally inspired us to turn our family hobby into a family business!
