Despite 6 inches of rain in Cope on Thursday, the cemetery is mowed and ready for Memorial Day! Big thank you to the few members who were able to make time outside of there busy summer schedules, and to the parents who were able to lend a helping hand. Our chapter may be smaller than it’s ever been, but our impact in our communities has not diminished! Great job 👍🏻

State Degree Recipients 2026 🏆

Congratulations to these 7 individuals who have just become the newest members of the State FFA Degree Chain Gang Club 🏅⛓️

Members will recieve there State Degree’s at the 4th General Session of the Colorado State FFA Convention on June 3rd. Members will be celebrated with a dinner prior to the event, where they can share the moment with friends and family. As of now, all students within our program eligible for this honor (AKA juniors & seniors) have recieved this award. Please congratulate these students as you see them on this accomplishment!

Regional CDE’s @ NJC 📝
Our students traveled up to Sterling, Colorado to take part in our local CDE contest yestarday. All members expressed interest in spending more time dedicated to CDE practice this semester, hoping to improve on last year. Below you can find the results, which are also posted on Judging Card. We are very proud of our students accomplishments at this regional level and can’t wait to see how they preform at State!

Thank you to everyone who came to support our Arickaree FFA Members! A big thank you to the Arickaree Young Farmers for always being willing to bring there cookers and provide us with a great meal. As well as Michal’s Auctioneering for keeping the night fun and lively. The proceeds from the event will ensure our students have the funds they need for the upcoming year.

Arickaree FFA - American Degree Recipients 2026 🎉

Congratulations to Gabby Hermes & Raeya Schrock for earning the highest degree in all of our organization! The American Degree demonstrates a dedication to a students SAE, chapter, & community beyond the high school level. Roughly less than .5% of all FFA Member will receive this honor. Both will travel to Indianapolis next fall to National Convention, capping off their journeys as Arickaree FFA Members 🎉

Fort Hays Tech Northwest - Tech Days 🐯

A couple of our FFA Members made the journey over to Goodland Kansas today to take a tour of a few tech departments at Northwest. Luis and Kane had the chance to tour the Desiel Tech, Automotive Tech, Precison Ag, and Welding Departments. Only being a two hour drive from Arickaree, and as seeing we’ve had a handle of alumni attend, I’d say we have a few interested students.
