Ephemera is here. ✨🌈

I named this collection for the kinds of beautiful things that are impossible to hold onto exactly as they are. Light moving across water. A flash of iridescence. A color that appears for a second and shifts the moment you change your angle.

I wanted the gemstones in Ephemera to have that same feeling. Opals that reveal unexpected flashes of color, moonstones that seem to glow from within, sapphires that add their own depth, and pearls whose organic shapes catch the light differently with every movement.

These are stones you have to experience, not just look at. Turn them, move with them, catch them in a different light, and something new appears.

Every piece in Ephemera is one of a kind because the moments that inspired it are, too. 💎

If this is your aesthetic, I have a feeling you’re going to love what I’ve been working on. ✨✏️

I’ve always been drawn to color that refuses to stay still. The flash of iridescence that appears for a second and disappears. Sunlight hitting the water and breaking into a hundred different colors. A translucent stone that looks completely different when you turn it in your hand.

That feeling found its way into my newest capsule, Ephemera.

The stones have so much movement, depth, and natural variation that no single photograph really tells the whole story. Their colors shift. Their inclusions become part of the composition. Certain details only reveal themselves when the light hits at exactly the right angle.

Ephemera is about noticing the beautiful little things that are impossible to hold onto exactly as they are. A reflection, a flash of color, a fleeting moment, or a gemstone that will never look quite the same twice.

If you’re someone who notices those things too, stay tuned. Ephemera launches next week, and I can’t wait to finally show you what I’ve been working on. 🌈

I love a cushion cut. I just don’t always want to set it the way you’d expect. 💎

These two Argyle ch*****ne diamonds start with the same idea: turn the familiar cushion silhouette kite-wise and see what happens. From there, each ring takes a completely different direction.

The 1.01ct diamond goes one step further. I set the stone upside down, with its flat side facing down, keeping the ring low to the hand while giving the facets and natural inclusions an entirely different way to interact with the light. The 0.85ct diamond is held by four sculpted claw prongs, creating a low‑profile setting that emphasizes the kite orientation and the stone’s warm ch*****ne color.

Same cut. Same unexpected turn. Two very different personalities.

Sometimes the most interesting thing you can do with a familiar shape is change the way you look at it. ✨

You may have noticed things look a little different around here. ✨

Marilyn Brogan Jewelry has a new look and a new website, with fresh colors, textures, and details that better reflect where my work is today. This refresh isn’t about becoming something different - it’s about a brand that feels more like the jewelry I’m making now.

I’m still designing pieces with an eye for the unusual, obsessing over remarkable gemstones, asking questions about where my materials come from, and staying closely involved from the first idea to the finished piece. The look has evolved, but everything I care about remains at the heart of it. Take a look around and tell me what you think! 💚

October has always felt like a month caught between two seasons. 🍂

There’s still warmth in the air, but the colors are beginning to shift. That in‑between feeling inspired this palette of glowing sunstone, coral, and vivid pink spinel.

Together, they capture both sides of the season: the sun‑warmed shades we aren’t quite ready to leave behind and the richer tones that make fall feel like fall.

Who says an autumn color story has to be brown and orange? ✨

What’s behind a piece of jewelry matters to me just as much as what you see. ✨

That’s why my Kite Rings are made with Fairmined gold. Fairmined works with certified artisanal and small‑scale mining organizations to support responsible practices, fairer working conditions, and stronger environmental standards.

I love that these rings can be chosen for their color, stacked for their meaning, and worn because they simply make you happy, while the gold itself reflects a more thoughtful approach to how jewelry is made.

Beautiful gemstones, thoughtfully sourced gold, and a story you can feel good about wearing. 💛

Consider this your sign to start dropping hints. 💎

If “diamonds, please” is on your wish list this year, there’s more than one way to say it. My Graduated Diamond Dangles bring just over a carat of bezel‑set sparkle with plenty of movement, while the Art Deco Hexagon Studs pair diamonds with all the geometric details I love: milgrain edges, tiny windows, and that signature hexagon setting.

Two very different moods, one very clear hint. ✨

Which pair are you hoping finds its way to you?
