A little buffet of my mixed media work, from past to present. 🎨
It’s always hard to look at your own work and see the progress, but I hope that growth shows over the years!
Sketching and painting have been part of me since I was 3 years old. But when I discovered that jewelry could be artistic, contemporary, and push boundaries, I was immediately hooked.
One of the first rings I ever made was a spinning globe ring. When it went on to be featured in an exhibition, it gave me that feeling that this was something I was meant to do. 🌎
Studying mixed media has taught me to think outside the box when it comes to jewelry design, exploring new materials, textures, and forms. I’m grateful for how college has helped me grow as an artist and designer.
Now that I’ve graduated, I’m pursuing my Jewelry Design & Technology degree at GIA. This is the final stretch of my educational journey (unless I get the itch for a master’s 😂).
I’ve been building my career while in school, but once I finish GIA, it’s a different story. I’m ready to hit the ground running, go all in, and finally give my career the time and energy I’ve been working toward for years. I’m proud of how far I’ve come, but even more excited about what’s next! ✨
What’s one creative skill you learned early in life that still influences what you do today?
