Caitlin was born and raised in the piedmont of North Carolina: she grew up in McAdenville and attended South Point High School in Belmont. While attending Mars Hill College (now Mars Hill University), Caitlin started making jewelry, finding inspiration in clock parts. Now, with more experience and influence from the Steampunk genre, the jewelry has expanded from simple chain and charm necklaces to
beads, bottles, earrings, and wire-work. When Temporal Trinkets debuted at the 2011 Lunsford Festival, it consisted of only five necklaces. Now Temporal Trinkets is an expanding Etsy store, and travels around local NC festivals as an arts and crafts vendor, based in Asheville, NC. Also active on twitter (handle )
