Every year we will give an award to a child in honor of Annette Bailey. She was a phenomenal woman who encouraged me to begin our youth summer camp. Annette wrote many of the songs that I teach the children. She came to our program faithfully and taught the songs her self. We lost Annette on this side to her battle with cancer but she lives on through her ministry of song and music that the children grasp so easily and their spirits soar as they sing those songs, even today.
Erica Norton is the recipient of the Annette Bailey Award 2016 . She displayed many of the gentle traits that Annette had. Congratulations Erica. She is pictured here with Annette's 3 sisters and Annette's daughter and granddaughter. Annette's sister Diann Hawkins did an excellent job as the guest speaker at our Ball.
