From Kyrgyzstan to My Closet! ✨

On my trip home in April, my beautiful friend gifted me the most gorgeous Kyrgyz coat—a chapan!

The chapan is a traditional, often long, quilted or padded coat typically worn in Central Asia. It’s known for its vibrant colors, detailed stitching, and warm, protective nature—truly a stunning piece of textile art!

It’s fascinating how many modern fashion designers draw inspiration from ethnic and traditional clothing like this. I love mixing cultural pieces into my wardrobe! You might remember I wore an Uzbek-style light summer jacket a while back, which I paired with white jeans and a simple tee. Outfit: Glasses : Pants: Belt: Shoes: Bag :
