Ever wondered the difference between 10K, 14K, 18K, 22K, and 24K gold? Here’s a quick breakdown — especially when it comes to grillz.

10K Gold
10K is 41.7% pure gold. It’s the most durable and budget-friendly option, making it great for everyday wear. This is best for non-smokers. Drinking is fine, and you can still smoke, but make sure you clean your grillz after.

14K Gold
14K is 58.5% pure gold and the most popular choice because it gives you a good balance of durability, shine, and value. This is usually what we recommend for smokers, but you should still clean your grillz regularly for sanitation.

18K Gold
18K is 75% pure gold, giving it a richer yellow color and a more luxury look. It is softer than 10K and 14K, but it’s higher quality in terms of gold. We recommend this for heavier smokers and drinkers, depending on budget.

22K Gold
22K is 91.7% pure gold. It has a very rich gold color, but it’s much softer, so it needs extra care.

24K Gold
24K is 99.9% pure gold. It’s the purest gold, but it is also the softest, which means it’s not always the best choice for grillz you plan to wear often.

The higher the karat, the more pure gold it has — but the softer it gets. The lower the karat, the more durable it is for everyday wear.
