As someone who has always loved old and forgotten treasures, working with found objects and toys opened up a world for me. I love the opportunity to give them new life in a non-traditional way.

My sad girls. They are borrowed from an early 1900s Court Royal To***co tin, framed in fused sterling silver with brass accents. Moonstone and Garnet are riveted in place.

I’ve always loved old, worn relics that tell a story, so it only makes sense that learning to work with vintage objects would speak to my soul and spark something in me.

Thank you, Carin Jones for introducing me to this new material. I’m so excited to explore, break rules, and experience my work evolve.

Here’s to a whirlwind of a year. 8 states, 16 cities, some near, some far, always an adventure. The beautiful faces, new and familiar, rowdy nights with fellow artists, shared woes and wins, and the conversations that make it all feel like magic.

I love being on the road just as much as I love the sweet relief of coming home to excited dogs, home cooked meals, and my studio -- my sanctuary.

I’m so grateful I get to call this a job, even when it feels like I chose gambling as a career. Nothing is consistent. Everything is unknown. It’s a good thing I thrive on mystery and chaos. I consistently have to remind myself that hard days are part of the deal, and the deal is pretty awesome.

Thank you to every human who bought, wore, shared, or gifted my work this year. I love you all, I owe you my life. Truly. Now it’s time to rest. 🖤
