A little color. A little sparkle. A little gold. ✨
Three ways we're layering necklaces right now.

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Stanson! 🥂 What a lovely couple ✨

A couple came in to Kruger’s with a family ring set they were given. They loved it…except for one thing. It was set in platinum, and they wanted yellow gold. No problem! ✨ We faithfully recreated both rings from scratch in yellow gold and reset the original stones. A family tradition lives on, in an updated setting to be cherished for even more generations. 💕

Wow look at this stunner. Set in 18k yellow gold, the star of the show is a uniquely shaped 3.05 carat diamond know as a step-cut hexagonal lozenge.

First popularized in the 1920’s, the lozenge cut is an uncommon relative of the emerald and Asscher cuts. Its long, parallel facets create broad flashes of light and a dramatic “hall of mirrors” effect rather than the pin-fire sparkle of a brilliant cut.

A captivating silhouette that’s a little Art Deco, a little modern, and definitely not something you see every day…but wouldn’t you like to??

Meet Jim and Eulalia Hill, the couple behind a little piece of Kruger’s history. 💕

We recently posted their ring from the 1930’s, now we get to meet the couple themselves.

The Fort Worth couple married in 1936. Jim bought Eulalia this ring from Kruger’s, and more than 85 years later, their granddaughter brought it back to us in its original Kruger’s box.

Jim was well known around Fort Worth. He owned a produce company, owned semi-pro baseball teams in the city, played baseball for the Cleburne Oilers, and played football at Baylor. He and Eulalia made their home in Arlington Heights.

After we shared their ring, their granddaughter was kind enough to send us this wonderful photo of the two of them and tell us a little more about their lives.

We love getting to put faces, and a story, to a piece of Kruger’s history. 💫

A customer wanted a new life for their old stone, so we re-set their beautiful diamond in this platinum bezel mounting and it’s a stunner 💫
