Black and orange has always felt like a color combo built for speed.

When we were testing out the dark gunmetal PVD case for this batch of Chrono Divers, dropping the stark white panda dial into it completely changed the vibe. The way the orange accents pop against the dark frame actually reminds me a little bit of a sunset afterglow.

I know a blacked-out case isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but if you prefer a stealthier take on the classic panda layout, I think you’re going to love how this one wears.

Panda dials are an absolute classic. But when I was designing this second batch of the Chrono Diver Gen 2, I wanted to take that iconic layout and add a serious punch of energy to it.

The splash of orange on the subdials and the chrono hand give the dial a high-contrast pop that makes it super legible at a glance, but honestly, it just makes the watch incredibly fun to wear.

Batch 2 of the Chrono Diver Gen 2 is officially live.

When we launched the Gen 2 earlier this year, the plan was always to eventually bring back a few of the core favorites from our original Gen 1 lineup. We just finished getting this second batch ready, which brings three of our most requested configurations into the upgraded Gen 2 case.

I wanted to share these close-ups to highlight the specific details of the dials:

Steel Blue: We designed this dial for depth. It’s an industrial grey-blue that shifts depending on how the light hits it. If you’re looking for an understated, highly versatile daily driver, this is the one.

Panda Orange: A direct nod to the purposeful clutter of 1970s chronographs. It features a high-contrast glossy white dial with black sub-dials, accented by just enough orange to keep things legible and give it a pop of personality. We also switched to dark gunmetal finished hands and applied indices for better visibility.

PVD Panda Orange: We took that same high-contrast Panda layout and paired it with a gunmetal PVD finish, giving the watch a more tactical, tool-forward feel without going completely matte black.

Green is notoriously one of the hardest dial colors to get right.

Go too dark, and it just looks black in most lighting. Go too saturated, and you end up squarely in the Leprechaun category. 🍀

The Prairie Green Heartlander was our attempt to nail down something truly refined. Depending on the light, it shifts—reading closer to an olive in the shadows, and pulling more of a dusty sage green when the highlights catch the sunburst finish.

It was designed to be highly versatile and to evoke a little bit of that Midwest spring feeling. Since today happens to be both St. Patrick’s Day and the middle of spring break, it felt like the perfect fit for the wrist.

The bestseller returns.

The Blue Panda was far and away the most popular version of the original Chrono Diver. For Gen 2, we wanted to keep that crisp, nautical energy but give it even more pop—we’ve updated the blue to a brighter, more vibrant shade that stands out sharply against the white dial.

While it has that classic sports watch aesthetic, we’ve engineered it for much better daily performance.

If you look at the case profile in the 3rd photo, you’ll see one of my favorite functional upgrades: the machined recessed cutouts. By tucking the chronograph pushers closer to the case, we’ve created a cleaner, snag-free silhouette that won’t catch on your cuff or gear while you’re out. You still get that tactile, retro “pump pusher” feel, just with a more refined and durable architecture.

The Blue Panda returns this Friday, Feb 20th at 10:00 AM CST.

This one is personal. As a photographer, my work is built around light. But for me, that connection runs even deeper.

I grew up in Kansas, and for years I’ve visited Grinter’s Farm, a local spot famous for its rows of sunflowers. I’ve always admired how they faithfully follow the light, from sunrise to sunset.

Like our Prairie Green from earlier this year, this one is all about our connection to the outdoors. It’s a rich, classic green that evokes the quiet resilience of an evergreen forest—a timeless color rooted in nature.

This is our most utilitarian take on the Heartlander. It’s all about function. We designed the dial and hands for high-contrast, instant legibility—no extra colors, just a clean, purpose-driven layout.

To match this functional ethos, the 38mm case has been coated in a black PVD finish. It’s a rugged, no-nonsense tool watch that’s ready for anything.

Next up in our new collection spotlight: the Heartlander Solar - Slate Gray.

This one is all about versatility.

It’s our true go-anywhere, do-anything colorway. We skipped a sunburst and went with a sophisticated, solid grey inspired by the enduring strength of natural slate rock.

And based on the early feedback from everyone who has seen the collection in person, this one might just be the crowd favorite.

We’re counting down the days until the official online launch this Friday, November 7th.
