💝The best gift anyone can give, I believe, is a gift of sharing one’s self… “I’d like to gift a very dear friend a bracelet. She was recently diagnosed with a rare aggressive cancer, is about to start treatment. I’m going to send you a picture of her so you see just how beautiful and fun she is. I want to give her something unique and beautiful that matches her spirit and personality. I have a few ideas and will send pictures. I’d love to include birthstones of her family members (4 total). Let me know if you have the materials to put something together please 🙏🏻” - Colleen
* 🪶Circa mid 1800s Venetian feather festoon bead (one of my absolute favorites as it’s hand painted with beautiful sparkly rose gold paint) the feather is a celebration of life symbol, cherishing the small things that make one’s life truly full.
* 🐍🌸 Pink snake vertebrae made in the North of France in a little region called Briare. The material is porcelain like, but what exactly it is, remains a mystery. I restore them ~ Scrubbing soaking repeat.. worth the effort. If you look closely, you’ll see some have chips/patina, show their age. Imperfectly perfect, like us. Very rare to find and even rarer in beautiful condition like these. Snake vertebrae are a symbol of rebirth and rejuvenation. As the snake sheds its skin, each day, a new opportunity to be the best YOU.
