Working through and diving back into some old works prepping for a few upcoming shows. Always a challenge coming back with different perception of what once was to the here and now. She is one I have been wanting to see appear for sometime now and so pleased to finally meet her.

"House of Sticks" has returned.
She had taken up residency at Western Reserve Hospital for some time and is now back!

House of Sticks
Do you ever wish to create so much that your seams are bursting with all that needs to pour out, yet the energy level is just not there?
The thought of getting out the paints, the cleaning of the brushes... oh the brushes!! Brings a different level of exhaustion to the table.
This was one of those nights.
Forcing myself to the studio to create something.. anything.
I enter and sit upon the floor to gaze upon my bin o'paints and lo and behold a can of popsicle sticks!
Did I create?!
Yes I did!
Did I have brushes to clean?
No I did NOT!
Because this dear lady was built and born with the use of said popsicle sticks that worked wonders as a palette knife. And afterwards I just allowed them to dry for future creations.
She may be weary, yet she is content.
The Big Bad Wolf has not blown her down yet!
