Boujoux - Jewelry By Mandy Roussel Jewelry made with vintage buttons and glass. Francisville, LA. I applied on a whim as a way to make extra money, but I earned so much more than a paycheck.

After a decade-long hiatus, I returned to the jewelry world by working as a maker/designer at Grandmother’s Buttons in St. I reignited my passion in jewelry designing and developed a new appreciation for buttons. After Grandmother’s Buttons announced their closing, I decided that I had to find a way to keep button jewelry alive. So, here I am!

I had collected so many cool pieces of vintage buttons and glass for this collection, that I couldn't bear leaving any behind. So, I created a charm brooch, and I am obsessed! Which charm is your favorite?

This design features Art Deco carnelian Czech glass, circa 1930, a vintage West German glass intaglio featuring Roman soldier, a faceted jet Czech glass square, circa 1950-70, a mid-century vintage domed cellulite button with Art Deco pattern.

Every piece comes with a brief history of the vintage part of the design on the back of the tag!

💡Every now and then, a design idea pops out of my head and lands at a market, missing the website. If the design does well, it makes its way to boujoux.co eventually.

🩶 The Imelda Necklace is one of those designs! Something about the spikes made me want to put them at the ends of a lariat style necklace. Market customers love her! What do you think?
