Boujoux - Jewelry By Mandy Roussel Jewelry made with vintage buttons and glass. Francisville, LA. I applied on a whim as a way to make extra money, but I earned so much more than a paycheck.

After a decade-long hiatus, I returned to the jewelry world by working as a maker/designer at Grandmother’s Buttons in St. I reignited my passion in jewelry designing and developed a new appreciation for buttons. After Grandmother’s Buttons announced their closing, I decided that I had to find a way to keep button jewelry alive. So, here I am!

We love a modern trend with a vintage twist here at Boujoux. It's kind of our thing. 💁🏻‍♀️

✨ And, asymmetry and mismatched earrings actually make a lot of sense to us. Our vintage components aren't always available in duplicates or mirrored versions. Sometimes, we have to pair a one-of-a-kind button with a similar counterpart or turn a component upside down.

But we always make sure the fit is comfortable and the design works. Our motto around the studio is "balanced asymmetry." ⚖️
