As soon as the caffeine in my large cup of coffee infiltrates my system, I have a full day of work to do in my studio! Just a friendly reminder, I am at The Vintage Greenhouse in Downtown Bay City by appointment only. I’m not an employee of the store, I rent my space there for jewelry appointments, and to sell my handcrafted pieces. I’m almost always available if you utilize my online booking, or send me a text, or facebook message. I live close by, and have appointments available from 9-7pm most days, and will accommodate your schedule if you need a time outside of those hours.

Invested in some new steel pattern plates for my rolling mill machine! These impress patterns into precious metals as they are rolled through the mill with annealed metal.

I love these patterns, and can’t wait to use them! I like these for creating patterns on pendant backplates, rings, earrings, all sorts of uses! They are not cheap, so I had to stop with these 7!

Home!! Whew, another long drive! Got to see my sweet grandson for a little bit 🥰🥰🥰

Tomorrow I’m back at it!! Gym first thing, then an appointment or two at the store downtown, (The Vintage Greenhouse) then I will be inside the Midland Mall at Elevan & Company for their flower bar event from 4-7! Come see us!!

Jewelry commissions that I completed today-

Sterling silver earrings on posts, for a client in Bloomfield Hills. She purchased some of my items at Village Fine Art Gallery, and wanted a few matching pieces to go with her set.

Also completed a cremation necklace, with pink opal mixed in with the ashes of her beloved pup. 14k gold filled chain and setting. This is also one of my popular chains for permanent jewelry.

Last for today (well, maybe. It’s still early!) is this men’s wedding band in a brushed hammered finish. Engraved on the inside of band as well. Simply stunning 🤩

Good morning!! 🥱

I have a full day planned in the studio working on jewelry orders, and also packing my suitcase for another adVANture! This time east to the DC area to visit my son, daughter-in-law, and my sweet grandson that will be turning 2 this Saturday! 💙💙

Going to take my time and split the drive into two days. I’m still exhausted from all that driving out west! Camping and hiking a bit in Shenandoah again. Breathing in some fresh air before the crazy holiday season starts!

Amongst a few projects I worked on today was this cremation ring, with the ashes of the client’s beloved fur baby. I also made her daughter a pendant, and will post a picture once we decide what chain goes best.

Completely made from scratch using sterling silver, with flecks of blue opal, turquoise, and malachite along with the ashes for the “gem”.

I get a lot of requests for jewelry made with ashes, and want to see a catalog of sorts to choose pieces from. Things are done differently here. I don’t have rings premade, nor do I order them from a catalog where there are a million of that same design out in the world. A consultation is scheduled to discuss your ideas. I try to come up with something unique to your specific style and wishes. No two pieces are ever alike. Each piece is made from raw materials, with lots of thought, time, and consideration in mind for the client. I love what I do!
