There’s something about laying everything out like this…seeing the pieces side by side before they find their person.

Soft neutrals, flashes of color, little moments of light caught in each stone. Some feel quiet and grounding, others a little more playful…like they’re waiting for a warm afternoon, a linen dress, and nowhere to be.

I always think about how these will live once they leave here. layered with your everyday favorites, tossed on without thinking, becoming part of your rhythm. The kind of pieces that don’t sit in a box…they go with you.

This is what inspires everything I make.

The walk across the dunes.
The wind. The shifting sand.
And then…this.

That moment when the ocean opens up and everything softens.

The colors, the light, the horizon, it all finds its way into my work.

Aquamarine, lapis, moonstone, emerald…
not just stones, but pieces of a place I never get tired of returning to.

Another wonderful art walk! Thanks to all the folks who come out and support local art! I feel so full of joy that my work is going to so many new homes and as gifts to others. Thank you so much!!! !!!

I have been doing the easy work getting ready for art walk. But, the hard part is putting into words why. Why do we do what we do? Why do I feel so drawn to certain shapes and colors. What’s driving me? I thought if I stopped to think about it and really analyze it I might lose my magic. But, the opposite has happened and I am even more inspired! I finally sat down wrote out my mission statement for my jewelry. Thanks to all of my supporters who have admired my work, commented on my designs and proudly wear the art I have created. It is art. It is subjective. It does speak to you or it doesn’t. It’s ok if you are obsessed with it or meh it doesn’t speak to you. It’s art! I hope everyone enjoys the art walk and has fun and finds some love and inspiration!
