Beaver Bay Agate Shop Beaver Bay Agate Shop is one of the oldest rock shops in the United States. We sell rough rock, jewelry, lapidary equipment, beads, and unique gift items.

Established in 1946, on the beautiful North Shore of Minnesota, we specialize in local stones and jewelry as well as rocks and fossils from around the world. We have a free museum that contains the largest collection of Thomsonite, a fluorescent room, and specimens from around the world.

Canadian Amethyst is ready to go in shop.

Keith is working on cleaning up the Lake Superior Agates. I hijacked a few to take pictures. We need to find them homes before he starts cutting!!

Illinois Fluorite has sold but owner was okay with pictures being posted. There is a lot more mineral specimens being unpacked.

This weekend is the smelt fry across road. Weekend road trip to Beaver Bay, MN?!?

Here we go for the last video ( #3). This one is a peeler. The husk does not have much going on but where the agate popped open you can see banding on the edge. Will it have banding all the way through or will it be a surprise? LETS FIND OUT!
