The diamonds are set. The lilies are waiting on her.

We built this ring from an idea, creating the entire mounting from scratch here in our Beavercreek workshop. But one decision was deliberately saved for after the proposal.

The lilies along the band have empty centers, ready for her favorite gemstones. He gets to surprise her with the ring. She gets to have a hand in what it becomes.

That’s the freedom of custom. Even the details you leave open can mean something.

A cool fact about opals — the colors you see aren’t actually caused by different colored material inside the stone.

Opals are made up of tiny silica spheres that bend and scatter light, creating the flashes of blue, green, red and orange you see as the stone moves. This is called “play-of-color.”
