What a wonderful day Sharon Scalise Artist Enamelist Metalsmith and I had at the Belleair Garden Club May Day Market. The weather was perfect, and I met so many lovely people who appreciated my work. I made a few sales and even connected with some future customers. Everyone was so warm and welcoming. Even though the storm rolled in, it couldn’t take away from such a great experience.

A LABOR OF LOVE
Each piece of my jewelry begins as fine or sterling silver, formed into ingots, sheets, or wire, then handcrafted into a unique design. Metal is melted, shaped, soldered, and finished using traditional metalsmithing techniques. Textures and details are created by hand, and every piece is filed and polished with precision. Inspired by the sea, shells, and natural forms.

My work reflects my vision and passion, resulting in jewelry that is truly one of a kind. I’m always happy to create custom variations of my earrings, bracelets, rings, and chain designs, adjusting details to make something feel more personal to the person wearing it. Each piece becomes a collaboration in its own quiet way.

Yesterday was my first time showing my jewelry at the Spring Outdoor Market in Largo, and it really meant a lot to me. I loved chatting with everyone, sharing my work, and hearing their feedback. It was a long, hot day, but such a great learning experience. I’m so grateful to my mentor, Sharon Scalise for sharing her booth and supporting me. And thank you to my friends Jill Stuart and Vince Ciurca for stopping by and picking up a bracelet, that truly made my day.

Setting up and breaking down a booth is no joke, so a big thank you to my daughter Maggie Hudak for being there all day and helping run things. And special thanks to Heather Hickman and Ruth Hickman for helping me get ready for the show. I’m really grateful for all the support. This is just the beginning.
