I’ve been avoiding opening up the studio doors for a while. Partly because I’ve been away so long and partly because it looks like THIS. Tools everywhere, packaging left out, half-finished ideas sitting right where I left them months ago. The honest reality of stepping away for a season.

The last four weeks have been full in the best way, soaking in life with our new little girl and settling into all that comes postpartum. The studio has been quiet, and truthfully I haven’t felt a huge pull to rush back in.

But today I opened the door.

It’s messy. A little overwhelming. And also full of ideas that were waiting patiently for me to come back. I’m not sure when my next collection will come together or what it will look like but I do know I’m excited to slowly begin again 🌿

Ruby Jane 💕 2/4/26

Today was her due date, but she decided to arrive a week early and we couldn’t be more in love with her.

Her arrival has reminded me just how special motherhood is… how when I thought loving another tiny human this deeply wasn’t possible, somehow it is. The love doesn’t divide, it grows and multiplies and fills every corner of our hearts.

We are tired and grateful and completely wrapped up in her. And so is big sis.

We’re soaking in these early days as a family of four, which means the studio will be still a little while longer. Don’t worry though because there are ideas tucked away for spring, sketches waiting patiently, and a new studio build out in the works… but for now, my hands are full in the very best way.

I haven’t really felt the pull to be in my studio since coming back from the holidays. Things are still just as I left them, packaging materials out, jewelry boxed up that I thought would sell, the space cool and dim.

I’ve been wrestling a bit with that sense of urgency… the pressure to jump back in, plan another update, make money all while also trying to honor this slower stretch of time. Part of me feels like I should be taking advantage of these days before the baby arrives, before sleep deprivation becomes the norm (ha) And yet, I’m learning that rest has its own kind of productivity.

There’s also been a little weight in knowing that silver prices have gone a bit bonkers. I remind myself that it’s out of my control and that I genuinely believe in the material. In its longevity, its value, in the way it’s meant to be worn, held, and passed down. Plus I really love working with it.

And maybe that’s the invitation right now. Not to rush, not to force momentum, but to sit at the bench for a while and see what happens. To trust that something will unfold when it’s ready... I’ll be sure to keep you posted when it does 🤍

I went a little quiet after my holiday update and that pause ended up being one of the best things I could have given my family.

We closed out the year traveling back East for the holidays, then rang in the New Year at home, by the fire, slow and grateful. That last update of the year really carried us through. 🫶

Life feels very full right now. We’re a little over a month away from welcoming a new member to our family, and quietly in the middle of adding onto our home, something I haven’t shared here yet. There’s so much I want to talk about, but I keep realizing I don’t need to say it all at once.

As I look ahead to 2026, I don’t have a perfectly clear picture of what it will look like. What I do know is that I want to show up more honestly… sharing not just the jewelry, but the seasons of motherhood, partnership, creativity, and the in-between moments that shape my work.

If you’re here for the pieces, the process, or simply following along as life unfolds, thank you. I’m really looking forward to this next chapter, even if it’s still taking shape. 🤍

Tomorrow’s the day ✨

After spending all day finishing listings and dialing in the website, I’m finally stepping back and realizing just how much went into this one. Nearly 90 handmade pieces will be hitting the site tomorrow at 5pm PT—each made slowly, thoughtfully, and ready to be wrapped up and sent off in time for Christmas.

This is my last big update of the year, and it feels really good to bring so much variety to the table. Whether you’re shopping for yourself or someone you love, I can’t wait for these pieces to find their way to you. Thank you, always, for showing up and supporting this little business of mine 🤎
