I’ll take care of this,& #34; the girl said, signaling the cashier to scan George’s items. & #34;No, really, I can pay,& #34; George insisted, but the girl wouldn’t accept his refusal. & #34;I’m sure,& #34; she replied with a warm smile. Reluctantly, George agreed and accepted the items. Curious, he followed the girl, who looked no older than 11, and asked, “What’s your name? And why would you pay for a stranger’s groceries?”
“My name’s Lily,” she said. “My mom always told me to help others whenever I can. She said God blesses those who are kind, and right now, we really need a miracle from Him.”
