Honey Tribe

Honey Tribe Empowered, love-infused jewelry. Hand wrought on the craggy coast of Maine. She is a huge fan of love and doing general good in the world.

Pamela DeSantis of Honey Tribe Jewelry, is a designer and creator of one-of-a-kind pieces of wearable art. She has a passion for metal, fire and stones and is unabashedly attracted to the handed down lore, mysticism and powers that different cultures have attributed to metals and stones throughout history. Pamela works primarily in bronze and brass, warm metals that wear their age with gorgeous, u

npredictable grace and patina. She is drawn to hand cut stones that wield purpose in the metaphysical world and vintage findings that hold the spirits of their past. Her mission: to create beautiful pieces that empower, hold symbolism for and illuminate the beauty of each individual wearer. Intertwined with her role as artist, Pamela is the loving mother of three sons and a stepdaughter: Jett, Ronin, Django and Keira Tachibana. She is also the best friend and muddy running partner of an amazing southern "rescue dog", Purl, who can’t seem to get enough of the Maine woods. She’s passionate about music, dancing, farm to table cooking, doing yoga and journaling.

Rustic Teal Tourmaline. Set in bronze and sterling.
From the Crystal Vaults:
Teal tourmaline, a blend of blue and green, is a powerful stone for emotional healing, clear communication, and spiritual balance. It bridges the heart and throat chakras, facilitating the expression of inner truths while fostering peace, tranquility, and the release of past emotional wounds.

Teal Kyanite set in gold paired with a hand cast bronze quatrefoil. Both hang connected by gold from a thin strand of 14k chain. My talisman for the day.

Stealing tomorrow for some studio time to catch up on projects I’ve had to put off for “real life”. I can’t even wait for Sunday. Stay tuned!!!

(This was a gift for my sister and is not available. I’ve been swallowed by life the past few weeks, but am trying to steal time at the bench soon. I have quite a bit of work amassed to share though! I’d say it’s high time for a shop drop!!)

Finished with the Resistance Rings!! Paraiba blue kyanite and bronze. Thanks again to all who donated to in order to own one of these babies! I salute you!! I had been feeling so helpless in all the mayhem. And then my heart and hands said: let’s do what we do best to help this mess! I hope it lifts the spirits of the nine peeps these rings are going to. They’ll ship Thursday BTW. Today is my Honey Husband’s birthday and I’m all his for the rest of the day after I wash the polishing compound off of my hands!!
🥰

A giant round of applause and gratitude for this community. Thank you so much for all of your support yesterday helping raise money for Project Relief Maine. We went above and beyond my hopes. It was an overwhelming success. Thank you for your kindness and generosity and your love for humanity. I’m honored to spend this day creating rings for you. I wish I had the extra stones and time to make more for those of you who reached out after the stones had been claimed. They went so quickly! I’m bound to do something like this again when I can steal more time.
Also, I’ve noticed more people speaking out. Folks who normally remain silent. I’m so proud of you because I know it must be terrifying. To everyone using your voice, volunteering, donating, spreading love: you are each a beacon of light in these very dark times. Help your neighbors. Stay safe. Love you. ~Pam
You’re always welcome to make a donation to !! 💋

(I am thrilled to say our little community has been so generous, and in under two hours all the stones have been spoken for.)

Whatever it is they say about idle hands... The world is on fire and I am snowbound in the studio up here in Maine, so I’m putting my hands to work so my heart doesn’t break. I’m making resistance rings from these beautiful paraiba blue Kyanite cabachons and bronze. A fundraiser for a ground zero organization helping immigrant families during these heinous times. Want a ring? It’s easy. First, reach out to me to make sure I still have a stone left, and tell me your ring size. Then, make a minimum donation of $150 to and screenshot it for me. I will create your ring and cover shipping. I admit I am low on oxygen/acetylene and can’t get more today, so if I run out the rings will be finished Tuesday after the snow storm. I always ship priority.
I love you guys for even considering helping. For speaking out even when it’s uncomfortable. Kyanite is about your throat chakra, having a voice. Peaceful resistance. It’s a stone, one of only two, that doesn’t retain negative energy: it’s a mega protector. And bronze is all about working together. Exhale in solidarity…Pam

Cast from an antique candlestick that reverently carries flame…
metal shaped by years of faithfully holding light.

Bronze for strength, endurance, and the memory of ages.
Aquamarine for truth, voice, and the courage to speak through tears.

Old light, reborn.
Guidance carried forward.
Tears for America.

My heart is constantly on the verge of breaking.

So excited to say I do not hate the new bronze casting medium I was forced to switch to. In fact…it’s definitely different, but I may just like it better than the old stuff. These pieces still need to hit the tumbler to polish em up a bit, but they already have a deeply soulful glow from the inside.
What a relief!!! I thought I was going to have to send my designs out to be cast. Can’t wait to use the new magnetic tumbler on them tomorrow! Hopefully it all works out and next I can make a super cool replica of a snake found by an archeologist friend on a dig in Denmark. 🐍
