Another group of very accomplished ladies . Quilts, wall hangings, place mats , aprons, oh my! Some of these ladies have been coming for 15 years! Always great to have them visit Inspirations!

My first group is always in charge of letting me know what I forgot to set up in sewing room. They did a great job! Even had to remind me to take out the “Friendship Quilt”so they could sign it. They were also very productive. Here are some pictures of their beautiful projects! So glad “group season” has started!

Spring Greetings to you all! It has been awhile since I have posted. Had an interesting fall with a mouth infection which caused a big delay in life. All is Good now and I am looking forward to seeing everyone. Hope you have all been getting many projects done. Our guild has a UFO thing. You pay $10 to join and every time you share a finished UFO, you get a ticket for the cash drawing, It has encouraged me to get projects done.

It has been an interesting winter. We finally got a lot of snow in February, all in one week. I say "Mother Nature was trying to catch us up, snow wise.

Group season starts in just over a month and I am so looking forward to seeing everyone!

The Sassy Sisters, my last group of the season were very productive during their stay. Aren’t they beautiful? Well, time for a winter break with groups. Already looking forward to Spring and seeing everyone next year! Hope you all have a fun and loving holiday season!

🎃 Treats and Trails 👻 The BBV Education Trust participated in the Treats and Trails event on Saturday, October 25 along the Rathbun Trail. 🍬 The Southern California Mountain Foundation organizes this event to get the children and their families out on the trails for a fun day of Costumes, Treats and Community Information. 🌲 About 30 vendors spaced themselves along the trail handing out candy, apples, pencils and other treats as well as answering questions about their organizations. The Education Trust supports activities that encourages the community to get out enjoying the unique resources of The Big Bear Valley. 🧙‍♀️ The Witches of the Ed Trust had a great time and hope you were able to enjoy the beautiful weather and community spirit of this event.

Hello Big Bear Friends, My heart is so concerned with what is going on with our Food Programs. I am hoping there could be a change regarding SNAP and other food programs but if not I just wanted to put this out there--If you are fortunate enough to not have to worry about having food on your table, please consider donating to a local food bank. I took some food to the Community Church today in Big Bear and had a chance to chat with Donna. She shared with me that she is almost running out of food on a daily basis. People are so concerned that they will not have food for their children and themselves. So with that being said, I hope you might be willing to make a run to the grocery store to buy food to donate. Community Church accepts food week days(although closed tomorrow). There are also other food banks in BB-Journey Church-St. Joseph Church-Big Bear Senior Center. To all my friends down the mountain-This goes out to you too. There are food banks everywhere and it's time for us all to step up.
