I have been holding off on posting this because we were hoping for a better outcome... And these are the toughest words I have ever had to write. My mama has unfortunately lost her battle with pneumonia. She had been hospitalized in ICU in Tucson for 4 weeks. She fought her hardest to stay with us but there were too many complications that kept her from recovering.
She was my mama, my best friend, my partner in this family business, and the absolute best and strongest woman I have ever known. She was a fighter, a caring mother and grandmother and life will never be the same with her absence.
At this time I ask you to pray for our family as we navigate what this new life without her will be like. We are absolutely heartbroken and need time to heal. Our jewelry business will continue on because I know that's what she would want, but please understand I may not be doing too many, or even any local shows for some time.
