Hello BARC friends,

We have a great opportunity coming up in September to help out a fun, new local event. The inaugural Mammoth Tuff off-road bicycle race, from Mammoth to near-Bishop and back, will take place on Saturday, September 18. Radio volunteers are needed to staff 3 aid stations (see attached map) during the race. Shifts start no earlier than 7:30am and end no later than 9:30pm.

Our help is needed with communicating emergencies, breakdowns and logistical details.

In the organizers' own words: Safety is our main priority with this event and we're looking forward to establishing this relationship with BARC for all our events in the future. These roads are incredible and we want to be able to share them with peace of mind for everyone and put safety at the top of the list. Thanks in advance for helping us share the beauty and remoteness of the land in this area. -Amanda Nauman, Co-Promoter

Please reply to me if you're interested, and the race organizers and I will provide you with additional details at a future date.

Thank you in advance for your help!
