The host can either be an individual person that would like to host a party for his/her friends and earn some cash at the same time or a non-profit organization. Sell Your Gold Fundraisers are a great way for schools, churches, synagogues, non-profits and sports teams to raise money for their group without having to ask members for money out of their pockets. Gold Party hosts and non-profit organizations make anywhere from $300 to $6,000 for their events.

Fingers change, weight changes, and a ring that used to fit perfectly ends up sitting in a box instead of on your hand.

That doesn't mean it's lost any value. Gold and platinum get evaluated by purity and weight, not by whether they still fit today.
