Dark Altar Tattoo is looking for a
Tattoo Artist and another Piercer

No Apprentices at this time.

Must Have :
Strong portfolio
Solid Clientele
No Drama

We Offer :
Most supplies (except needles, inks)
It’s a come and go as you please.
You make your own hours.
We do have set shop hours for walk-ins. (open every day)
Rent is a monthly flate rate.

We, as a shop, plan on doing quite a few events and conventions and would love to have someone join us but is not necissary.

We thrive to keep it fu and relaxed in the shop and always looking for different ways to grow.

Meet our Piercer Mac!

As a child I developed a fascination with facial piercings. I didn’t see them often but when I did, I couldn’t look away. The older I got, the cooler piercings got, and I started obsessively watching piercing videos on (old) YouTube. However, factors like “parents” and “the workforce” kept me from getting more than a few ear piercings. At one point, I felt like I could never have the piercings I wanted and accepted my doom. For years, I admired piercings, looked at photos of them and would occasionally wear fake piercing jewelry. One day I ultimately decided that not having piercings in my life was not the way I wanted to live anymore. I started my facial piercing journey with two nostril piercings, and never looked back. Eventually I landed an apprenticeship at the shop I was getting pierced at. I’ve been expanding my knowledge and skillset ever since.
These days, I’m passionate about ear and facial curations and mapping. Not only to help bring my client’s vision to life, but also to assess the client’s anatomy in depth to determine which piercings would be compatible with their specific anatomy. This helps me to design something uniquely stylish for each client, and also helps to prevent long term healing issues that are due to anatomy incompatibility.
In my free time, you’ll find me writing songs, hanging out with my cats, bunnies, and dog, and making my son laugh with cheesy mom jokes — I love that he says I’m the silliest person he knows.
Fun fact about me: I’m a huge Linkin Park fan — my dog Chester is even named after Chester Bennington.
