So I might officially be insane- yesterday I completed two weeks of wrapping exclusively for our Autumn jewelry release. I had these three beautiful chunks of raw hanging out in my treasure trove of specimens I have hand selected to create with, and I must say, it was a pleasure spending the afternoon in meditation with them.

Libyan Desert Glass, like all tektites, is a powerful fusion of heavenly and earthly materials, opening us up to the wisdom of the cosmos, but grounding us to prevent overwhelm. One of Moldavite’s gentle cousins, LDG encourages introspection on the situations, relationships, patterns of behavior and beliefs that do not serve our highest self. It supports us as we take agency to build a life marked by peace, love and strength, never pressuring us to move faster than our hearts can handle. I liken LDG to that one Auntie we all have who’s not afraid to sit you down for a strong cup of tea and real talk❤️

So excited to be participating once again in Art in the Park, a fabulous showcase of local talent hosted by Denville Arts Council (who incidentally are the amazing minds behind The Witchery )

One of the best parts of being a self-employed artist is that I get to follow my curiosity and passion wherever it may take me. Electroforming has been the most satisfying artistic process I have ever engaged in. A perfect marriage between the technical aspects of a bench jeweler and the wild abandon of a career sculptor, each and every piece created is one-of-a-kind, and steeped in its own potent magic. Of all the jewelry making techniques I have been exposed to, electroforming is, to me, the ultimate way to showcase the natural beauty of raw stones and natural artifacts, amplifying their mystique and enhancing our connections with the earth, and each other.

We’ll be open regular hours all weekend, stop by to experience the magic of these, and all our other handmade treasures, in person!

It’s been a hot minute since our last fundraising efforts, and we’re here to share the story of Ellie and her family’s quest to purchase a wheelchair van.

While we could spend tons of time talking about how brave this family is, or how special Ellie is, the part missing from this narrative is how SPECTACULARLY the system has failed this family.

Accessibility IS visibility. Accessibility is dignity. Accessibility is support. And since we haven’t managed to figure that out here in NJ, in 2026, it’s a conversation worth having.

No family should have to crowd-fund a wheelchair van, which, last time we checked, is a supportive medical device. Insurance and state programs should be in place to absorb those costs- mothers and fathers should never have to spend what precious energy they have begging for the systems to provide help with what we all poured money into those systems to handle.

And that’s where community comes it, because if we don’t have each other’s backs, then who is going to help us in our time of need? It’s sad to say, but we are living in a time when compassion and empathy are revolutionary.

So let’s do the most dangerous thing we can, and get this family the van the need, together. For the remainder of the month, stop into the shop, make a donation of $10 or more to Ellie’s fundraiser, and receive 10% off your in-store purchase, up to $10 off.
