She had the pearls and diamonds. She just wasn’t wearing them.
For a special birthday, her cousin gave her the chance to turn them into something she would love wearing again.
We started with starfish inspiration, tried the shape against her ear, and found an existing mold with the lovely, fluid lines she wanted, allowing us to bring the design together just for her.
Softly textured gold, her diamonds at the center, and her pearls nestled below. A little coastal, very personal, and right at home here in Marblehead.
This is one of my favorite parts of redesigning jewelry: helping someone see what’s possible in pieces they already own.
