My employee is gone for two weeks, and I’m already dying. 😂 It’s literally been ONE day.

So I decided to send him a little love note every single day reminding him how much I miss him… and how much I absolutely HATE doing his job. 😂

But all jokes aside, this has reminded me of something I feel really strongly about.

After spending years working for other people, I know how rare it is to work for someone who genuinely appreciates your hard work. And I never want to be the kind of boss who forgets that.

I wear just about every hat in my business, except the one that involves actually printing the shirts. That’s his department, and he does an incredible job at it.

I’m incredibly proud of the business I’ve built, but I also know I wouldn’t be where I am today without a great employee who cares about the work as much as I do.

So here’s my little reminder to anyone who owns a business: Take care of your GOOD employees. Appreciate them. Respect them. Make sure they know their hard work doesn’t go unnoticed.

Because a great employee isn’t just someone who shows up and collects a paycheck. They’re someone who helps turn your dream into a reality.

And no matter how replaceable you think people are, the really good ones aren’t. ❤️

Now, if someone could tell him to hurry the hell back, that would be great. 😂

Decided to hit the beach yesterday since it was probably our last mid-70s day for a while… and damn, I’m glad I did. 😍

Found my BIGGEST Petoskey stone yet! She may not be the prettiest girl at the beach right now, but I’ve got high hopes she’ll shine up real purrty. 😂🪨✨

Apparently this is some of the best foliage they’ve had in years… and somehow I picked the year Mother Nature decided to absolutely show the hell off. 😂

Every turn was red, orange, gold and one more reason to pull over and take 47 photos.
