Hi jewelry lovers! Thank you for visiting my page! A lil about me: Welcome to Glass Skye Jewelry. I am Bridgitte, and I am the designer of the unique collections featured in this online gallery. I currently reside in Eastern Pennsylvania, but I was born and raised in Central New Jersey. I hope you find pieces in my jewelry collection that whisper in your ear and elegantly deck your neck :) "Glass Skye Jewelry" is my brand of ever changing high end artisan jewelry...showcasing exquisite gemstones combined with wrapped and beautiful crystals. I came up with the name because I love working with "Glass" and our daughter's middle name is "Skye" :) I have been creating and selling my pieces and honing my skills for some time now. For me, Glass Skye Jewelry is to feel beautiful, sensual & alluring in your own unique, understated way–inside & out. Just the right amount of demure + confidence, romance + elegance… a balance of timelessness + sparkle. About me... Hi there! My background is actually in Business Organization and Management but my journey into the world of Venetian glass, pearls, crystals and gemstones was born out of a desire to be productive while caring for my young children. I soon fell in love with the concept of creating beautiful wearable art from the amazing products of nature. I've always loved color and making pretty things. My diverse background in all-things-design gives me a unique lens through which to view the world of jewelry. I painstakingly create each design with an eye toward both aesthetics and functionality, and I take great pleasure in the play of light and the colors of the materials I works with. I work mainly with sterling silver and gold fill but sometimes rose gold fill, copper ~~I love working with Murano Glass from the islands of Murano, Italy. I also love working with gemstones, Swarovski crystals and pearls.
