Story time
So with this custom piece a with all my other custom pieces. This is the process:
1st
I listen intently as the person and take notes on the desired piece(s) they are commissioning me to produce.
2nd
I meditate, muse, and observe. Usually within a window 48-72 hours I make my way to my work space. Sometimes the artistic energy is very difficult I have been locked up mentally for a couple of weeks on pieces in the past. But, those are the pieces that become epic on many levels.
3rd
I begin designing. Pulling colors, contrasts, materials, accents, pulling together a theme and a story for the wearer. I being laying them out and staging them until they reach their final arrangement.
4th
I finish the item(s) take photos, get confirmation or feedback. A few times at this point I have had to start over. Most times it's "perfect" as I'm told. I offer sizing, modifications and add ons and remind them of my lifetime clasp and closure warranty if the piece is cover.
5th
I package, deliver and l/or ship and recover payment.
