**Barefoot Sandals**
The season is almost over in most parts. But, here in Florida it's still ON🥵
No matter the venue these are a perfect accessory. Most wear comfortably with any flipflop and some sandals. I'm not going to lie when you're wearing these why would you want to a wear anything else.

However, a brief description of what you see:

The toe ring is a light weight small gold chain. Connected to the instep which is beaded with cats eye royal blue stone spaces with small gold colored beads. The top of the instep is a crystal connecting the anklet which follows the same pattern of glistening beads for an eye catching experience. 2" extender on anklet.

No matter how hard I get pulled away from life... and I know it happens to everyone. Recently it got rough I thought this was done. Business is slow for everyone I've picked up me side jobs. And that means less time for Desi Does Everything. Along with literally a million other things going on.

No sooner than the post went out that I was closing this chapter. Not because I wanted to but it felt necessary. I received orders. Several. Which had made me take a beat and put closing on pause.

In the event I am off from my current job. I would love to set up at this local event.
My ask is.... would you come out to this event? Support a small entrepreneur? Will you help make my effort worth it???

I will always promise to stand behind my product. I know you have heard it all before. If you doubt me, ask anyone who has ever purchased from me.

As you know Desi Does Everything is truly what we do.
In the photos below you will see the progression of one of the newest projects. A collaboration between a couple of friends. Proving 2 minds are better than one. Creative collaborations have always been a desire and now a reality.

This Suncatcher was inspired by a simple broken earring that was missing it's cabuchone and 2 colors. It them mused into this as we diligently (lol) worked, laughed and shared stories. This piece came together bit by bit. It also provided me a chance to hone skills and teach which I absolutely love!


Starting at the top there is a oversized gold lobster claw clasp for clipping or placing on a hook. Giving it versatility in location placement. Moving down you have the first piece of the old earring transformed with a piece of hand picked mother of pearl. It is sealed in place with resin to accentuate the shine and provide a secure hold. The up turned moon piece is connected by two head pins that were hand beaded with care to give this piece a little more length. Each of tendrils was designed for balance in color, placement, and weight. The intention was not perfect but balanced. Life isn't perfect bit it's beauitful when balanced!
The Mother of Pearl is wire wrapped by hand. There are uv color changing cats eye beads in each of the strands as well as real crystal and bits and baubles collected over time. To capture your eye and give you something new to see at each glance. The rainbow prisms that come off of this piece full the room with beauitful colors. Remember placement is key. Best use in indoors or a Florida room. Not weather resistant at this time.

It was truly enjoyable to make this piece and see all of the reactions I have gotten from it so far. I will share finished photos on Friday stay tuned.

This is not the finished product...I can't wait to show you guys!!!

Plus, we already have an order for 2 more... and we don't even know what to charge for them...lol but from what I see them going for on the internet. And most are so simple in comparison to this one. It looks like they will be between $175-$200 each unless you provide your own stones of choice, broken earring and anything specific you want in it. The price would come down substantially.
